| Conditions / Reason for Refusal: |
01
The Council considers that the proposed extension and detached outbuilding together with the raised decking constitute disproportionate additions to the existing dwelling and represent inappropriate development in the Green Belt. The extensions are considered to have a significant detrimental impact on the openness of the Green Belt for which no very special circumstances have been demonstrated to overcome this and other harm caused. As such the proposal is contrary to Local Plan Policies CS4 Green Belts and SP 2 Development in the Green Belt, and the National Planning Policy Framework.
