Reason In order to ensure a satisfactory appearance in the interests of visual amenity. 04 The proposed north-facing side window directly fronting 12 Walker Road must be obscure-glazed, unless the prior permission of the Local Planning Authority has been obtained. Reason In order to safeguard the privacy and amenity of the existing and future users of the neighbouring property in accordance with Local Plan policies CS28 and SP55, and Paragraph 135f of the National Planning Policy Framework (2024). Positive and Proactive Statement During the determination of the application, the Local Planning Authority worked with the applicant to consider what amendments were necessary to make the scheme acceptable. The applicant agreed to amend the scheme so that it was in accordance with the principles of the National Planning Policy Framework.
