01
The proposed boundary treatment by virtue of its height, length, siting and appearance to the front of the property in a prominent position would introduce an incongruous feature which would be clearly visible within the street scene and would be detrimental to the appearance of the host property, street scene and character of the area in general. As such the development is contrary to adopted Local Plan policies CS28 ‘Sustainable Development’ and SP58 ‘Design Principles’, as well as the Council’s adopted Supplementary Planning Document ‘Householder Design Guide’ and the National Planning Policy Framework.
