Reasons for Refusal

The reason for refusal relates to the following matters:
• G1- Group of 3 Beech trees. Prune encroaching lower crown branches to property boundary; crown reduce by 4m height, leaving approximately 12m height.
Conditions imposed:

Consent is granted to the following schedule of works, and refers to the submitted applicant’s site plan:
G1- group of 3 Beech Prune lower crown branches to clear highway to 5.4m height above ground level; reduce encroaching lower crown branches by 2m to suitable growth points, leaving minimum 6m crown from stem-crown edge.

All tree works detailed in condition 1 shall be carried out in accordance with British Standard 3998: 2010, unless otherwise stated in the application.

Please note the authorised works should be completed within 2 years of the decision notice otherwise a new application for consent to carry out any non-exempt tree work will be required.
