The Council considers that the proposed telecommunications mast by virtue of its siting in a prominent elevated position and open character setting would appear unduly dominant and incongruous in the streetscene. As such, would be significantly harmful to the visual amenity of the locality and streetscene contrary to Local Plan Policy SP 61 Telecommunications and the National Planning Policy Framework.
