The trees are not subject to TPO regulations as stated within the application; however, they do fall within the Wentworth Conservation area. As such, I will respond with regards to the Conservation area.
The trees stand to the rear of 49-51 Main Street Wentworth and although they can be seen from the main road, they are small to medium in size with limited view only. The trees are in fair condition with a limited retention span and lack redeeming features. As such, the trees do not meet the required criteria for a TPO to be placed upon them, therefore, there are no objections to the proposed work.
Conditions:
1. All tree works shall be carried out in accordance with British Standard 3998: 2010 and shall not exceed the works as described in the officer report above.
2. Please note the authorised works should be completed within 2 years of the decision notice otherwise a new application for consent to carry out any non-exempt tree work will be required.
