Whilst Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council does not object to the proposed works, for any tree that is owned by a third-party permission must first be sought from the tree owner to enter their land to carry out the works. Without receiving this permission anyone entering the land with the tree on it could be found to be trespassing.
