01
The applicant is advised that no noise-generating fixed plant, including mechanical ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration units, compressors, extraction equipment or similar installations, should be installed without first obtaining any necessary planning permission and submitting full details to the Local Planning Authority for approval where required. Such details should include a BS 4142:2014+A1:2019 noise assessment and 1/3 octave frequency analysis, incorporating appropriate corrections for acoustic features and identifying any necessary mitigation measures. The plant should be designed and operated so that the cumulative Noise Rating Level does not exceed a level 3dB(A) below the prevailing background noise level when measured outside the boundary of the nearest noise-sensitive property. Failure to adequately control noise from plant and equipment may result in enforcement action under planning or environmental health legislation.
POSITIVE AND PROACTIVE STATEMENT
Whilst the applicant did not enter into any pre application discussions with the Local Planning Authority, the proposals were in accordance with the principles of the National Planning Policy Framework and did not require any alterations or modification.
