The reason for refusal relates to the following matters:
• T1 Crown lift to 4.5m height.
Crown reduce Western, South Western and Southern canopy by 3m.
Reduce overextending lateral branches overhanging No 17 by up to 3m.
Selective pruning of secondary growth.
Remove dead dying crossing and defective branches within crown.
A previous application for similar works was made in application RB2025-0541 and RMBC issued a Decision on 23rd September 2025. This still stands and a Decision Notice issued on this date is valid until 2 years after the date of issue.
No further works will be considered necessary or appropriate, after what can be considered a maximum level of tree crown reduction work, for at least 2 years.
