This permission shall be valid for 3 years only and at the end of that period (unless further permission is granted by the Local Planning Authority prior to the end of that period) the external access ramp shall be wholly removed and the site restored in a manner to be agreed with the Local Planning Authority.
Reason
To protect the special character and appearance of the Grade I listed Building in accordance with Policy SP40 Listed Buildings.

The permission hereby granted shall relate to the area shown outlined in red on the approved site plan and the development shall only take place in accordance with the submitted details and specifications and as shown on the approved plans (as set out below)

Prior to the expiry of the 3 years of this permission or the removal of the lift, whichever is sooner. Details of how the balustrade would be reattached to the Staircase along with details of decoration to match the staircase shall be submitted to and approved in writing with the Local Planning Authority.

To protect the special character and appearance of this Grade I listed building in accordance with Policy SP40 ‘Listed Buildings.’
Positive and Proactive Statement
The applicant and the Local Planning Authority engaged in pre application discussions to consider the development before the submission of the planning application. The application was submitted on the basis of these discussions. It was considered to be in accordance with the principles of the National Planning Policy Framework.
