Reasons for Refusal
01
The reason for refusal relates to the following matters:
• T2 oak- fell
An application to fell trees covered by a tree preservation order should be accompanied with evidence showing the need for the tree(s) removal.
The alleged drilling damage is minor and may not cause ongoing issues with tree health. Reasons presented for felling due to ‘shading’ and issues relating to the shared canopy of the two oaks T2 and its adjacent partner tree, are not seen as sufficient reason to remove this tree.
