Consent is granted to the following schedule of works, and refers to the submitted applicant’s site plan:
2x Sycamore • 2 sycamore – Thin and prune back new growth to points just above the previous pollarding cuts

All tree works detailed in condition 1 shall be carried out in accordance with British Standard 3998: 2010, unless otherwise stated in the application.

Please note the authorised works should be completed within 2 years of the decision notice otherwise a new application for consent to carry out any non-exempt tree work will be required.

The best time to carry out this work would be late winter, but while buds are still dormant. Pruning in Autumn can overly stress the tree and increase the likelihood of fungal problems. Sycamore pruned in Spring can lose a lot of sap.
