Based on the evidence submitted it is considered that the proposed single storey side extension shown on the submitted drawings (Proposed Plans - H/24/02), if constructed in accordance with the submitted plans would not be lawful. The proposed new extension would, given the location, fronts a highway and forms a side elevation of the original dwellinghouse. Accordingly, the extension fronts a highway and forms a side elevation of the original dwellinghouse cannot be permitted development.
Therefore, the side extension is not in compliance with the criteria outlined within Schedule 2, Part 1, Class A of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015, as amended.
