Reasons for Refusal (with lesser consented works).
Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council refuses the works for the following reason(s):
1. The poplar group G8 has at some point recently undergone pruning to reduce the high of the group. Further reduction to these trees would be detrimental to their health, structure and public amenity, as such the works are refused.
2. The oak tree T4 is suspected of contributing to the subsidence damage however no evidence is presented to positively identify the tree as a causal agent, as such removal is refused.
Conditions:
1. Consent is granted to the following schedule of works, and refers to the submitted applicant’s site plan:
G6 Poplar Reduce by 30% poplar group due to subsidence related damage
2. All tree works detailed in condition 1 shall be carried out in accordance with British Standard 3998: 2010, unless otherwise stated in the application.
3. Please note the authorised works shall be completed within 2 years of the decision notice otherwise a new application for consent to carry out any non-exempt tree work will be required.
