| Conditions / Reason for Refusal: |
The proposed development does not comply with the conditions, limitations or restrictions applicable to development permitted by Class AA of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development Order) 2015 as amended which exceeds the limits in paragraph AA.1 (h)
(h) the floor to ceiling height of any additional storey, measured internally, would exceed the lower of—
(i) 3 metres; or
(ii) the floor to ceiling height, measured internally, of any storey of the principal part of the existing dwellinghouse;
Prior approval is refused as the proposed additional storey would be 0.18m in height over that which is permitted under the Prior Notification scheme.
It is also noted that should the application be resubmitted then the window arrangement at first floor level should be in keeping with those existing at ground floor level.
