The two containers shall only be used for storage purposes in relation to the existing petrol filling station and associated shop/take-away, and shall be re-positioned one behind the other as indicated on the approved plan (ref Block Plan 16 June 2022).

For the avoidance of doubt and in the interests of nearby residential amenity.

The containers shall only be accessed between the hours of 08:00hrs and 21:00hrs Mondays to Sundays except in the case of emergencies.
Reason
To safeguard the amenities of the occupiers of nearby properties in accordance with Local Plan Policies SP11 and SP52, and Part 15 of the NPPF.
Informative:
The relocation of the storage containers should take place within 3 months of the date of this decision to avoid prosecution action in respect of the current unauthorised siting of the containers.
POSITIVE AND PROACTIVE STATEMENT
The applicant did enter into some informal discussions with the Local Planning Authority to consider the amendments before the submission of the planning application. The application was submitted on the basis of these discussions, or was amended to accord with them. It was considered to be in accordance with the principles of the National Planning Policy Framework.
