This is due to the fact that the extension meets the requirements outline above. As such, the rear extension is in compliance with the criteria outlined within Schedule 2, Part 1, Class B of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015, as amended. Second Schedule 122 Clough Street, Thornhill, Rotherham Informative: The submitted plans also seem to show a window between the kitchen and the bedroom to the elevation, it should be noted that in the event this serves an upper floor window then it is required to be obscure glazed and parts of the window which are openable are to be more than 1.7 metres above the floor of the room in which the window is installed. However, this window is not being considered under this application.
