Officer Report:
There is an error within this application. The tree that stands as shown within the submitted details does not have TPO regulations placed upon it. However, the tree does fall within a conservation area, as such, I will respond with regards to the conservation area.
The Sycamore tree stands in the front garden of the property and provides amenity to the area. However, the tree is multi stemmed and has a substantial bark inclusion /compression fork on the main stem of the tree. This bark inclusion/compression fork may be susceptible to failure during adverse weather conditions and could possibly causing injury or harm in the event of a failure. As such there is no objection to the work.
Conditions:
1. All tree works shall be carried out in accordance with British Standard 3998: 2010 and shall not exceed the works as described in the officer report above.
2. Please note the authorised works should be completed within 2 years of the decision notice otherwise a new application for consent to carry out any non-exempt tree work will be required.
