| Conditions / Reason for Refusal: |
• T1 - Crown reduce by 2m leaving a remaining height of 18-20m with a crown spread of 12m. Also crown lift to clear BT cables and remove deadwood.
• T2 - Crown reduce by 2m leaving a remaining height of 16-18m with a crown spread of 10m. Also crown lift to 5m above ground level and remove deadwood.
• T3 and T4 - Crown reduce by 2m leaving a remaining height of 12-15m with a crown spread of 6m. Also crown lift to 5m above ground level and remove deadwood.
• T5 - Remove the tree.
• T6 - Crown reduce by 2m leaving a remaining height of 18-20m with a crown spread of 12m.
Conditions:
1. All tree works shall be carried out in accordance with British Standard 3998: 2010 and shall not exceed the works as described in the officer report above.
2. Please note the authorised works should be completed within 2 years of the decision notice otherwise a new application for consent to carry out any non-exempt tree work will be required.
3. The removed tree must be replaced with a newly planted tree. The replacement tree must be planted within 12 months of this letter; and of a size not less than 10-12cm girth when planted. It is recommended that planting takes place between the months of October and February but being careful to avoid periods of waterlogging or hard frost. If the new tree species is different from that removed, then Rotherham’s Planning department must be consulted before planting is completed.
